do asian girls date white guys because they think it is better socially for them? are blacks treated better if their skin is lighter?

do all races subliminally think lighter skin is better? whites make up 10% (maybe a little more) of the WORLD'S population yet, all races seem to think white or light skin is supreme!! including blacks! why is this? why do some asians get cosmetic surgery to have more european features? i play lots of video games, most of the best games come from japan and the trend i have seen is blonde hair blue eyed characters being heros...hardly do i ever see japanese heros in these games and they are made by japanese companies...i dont get it....we all have allowed the world to define who we are as a race socially...politically....class and i mean all races...our societies have mentally screwed us all that lighter is better. and nothing is wrong with being light...but neither is being dark. love yourselves humans....love the skin you are in no matter who u are!!

I was surprised to see Asian women with 'whitening' cream on their skins while I was out there.

But then I realised that I like looking tanned!

I, like countless others with wavy hair, spent too much of my time straightening it.

Billions of curling tongs are sold every year.

Few people are truly happy with how they look, but in the end,

the people we find attractive, tend to be the ones who most resemble ourselves.

It is not a question of which group of humans have the 'better features'

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I reckon that the money generated by sales of video games in Europe alone would ensure that the cartoon characters would be made to look similar to the target market.

That's just business sense.

cmon now buddy, not ALL europeans look white/blonde and whatever.. a LOT do look ethnic, check out southern europeans! most of them are extremly ethnic looking.. there's exceptions to all rules, actually many hispanics can look european too.. and i agree, love yourself and love your skin. But you know, its not just asians and blacks or whatever trying to change their look, its also whites... but we shouldnt look at it in this way, we should say that these are just people who are insecure and may want diff. features, not neccarily "european" ones...
