Why and how do Japanese kids always look so cool?

I know this sounds like a stupid question maybe. And I'm not trying to stereotype. But even when I see just normal Japanese kids on a flight to Shanghai or whatever, they just have this look. Like they are cool, but they're not trying to be cool. I know there is that crazy district in Tokyo where kids wear all kinds of crazy fashions-- I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about how Japanese kids have this like stopic cool, cute, put-together, organized look about them. Like they have the perfect outfits in really subtle ways and their hair is always cute. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm tall, white, skinny, and I have thin brown hair and blue eyes. Obviously, I'm not Asian. But how can I get some of that cute style without just looking like a poser or looking absolutely ridiculous and nowhere near the style I'm going for?? HELP! thanks everybody....!

I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm Filipino. I consider myself Filipino/Pacific Islander and not Asian. You're right: Japanese kids always do look cool. I've always wondered that myself. Especially the hair. There's this certain thing that they do and I've tried to imitate it and failed miserably. I'm not sure if it's even possible to get that style unless you're Japanese. If I were you, I wouldn't get my hopes up... Sorry.

haha , there is this asian kid my school , I used to call him ping pong cus his real name was hella hard to pronounce, and my and my other friend would always get on opposite sides of him and start pushing the little dork back and forth , like a ping pong ball haha good times...I think he liked it too.

I mean come on don't judge a race like you know everything about it. Asians are not "so uncool" My brother is asian and i think these comments are offensive. My brother is one of the coolest people i know. Back to the question: some japenese people do have a really good sense of style. i would try looking in some japenese magazines.

The EGL look is HOTT! The reason that looks soooo cool is because they are more creative and tend to not waste time worrying about fitting in with the next stupid trend that comes along. They are bold and adventurous when it comes to fashion.
