Why are white people NOT considered "ethnic" ?

when you go into a store, they have hair products like garner Fructis, Revlon, Sunsilk, then there's a "Ethnic" section. Revlon, Sunsilk, and Garner is mostly used by white people. When people refer to ''Ethnic" foods, it's Asian, Latin American or African foods. How come French, Greek or Italian food is NOT considered ''Ethnic"? It's just French, Greek and Italian food. Just a thought.....

Why are white people NOT considered "ethnic" ?

It's because ethnic usually means non-White. Everyone has an ethnicity though, %26amp; that includes White people. By the way the French, Italians, %26amp; Greeks are considered more "ethnic" then Northern European groups.

Why are white people NOT considered "ethnic" ?

THEY ARE TOO PLAIN!!!

Why are white people NOT considered "ethnic" ?

above "plain" is harsh

but i believe in ANOTHER country they are considered ethnic

they're the ones who made those rules, ask them

Why are white people NOT considered "ethnic" ?

Greek and Italian are certainly considered ethnic food. French is too, but not as much.

"Ethnic" is used as a way to differentiate things on a cultural basis. White people (majority) have no trouble finding products in most stores which cater to them. Non-whites would be the ones hunting out the "ethnic" products, I'm guessing and might find it useful to look at a section designated as such.

Wow, now the stores are "rayciss", huh? Get Sharpton in there to highlight the injustice.
