I need girl help!?

I wanna make a new-years resolution. I want to change from your average plain jane girl, to someone who gets acknowledged (and not get asked, what's your name again?) I wanna wear make-up, but I don't know what color. So here is what I look like: Dark brown hair straight and layered (but it's flat and the length is 2 inches past the shoulders), Dark Brown eyes, not so much acne, average/athletic body, and asian/filipino features. I want to be noticed, but I don't want to look like a tramp. Help!

i totally understand where your coming from, ive been there and done that, and im exactly where i wanna be. every girl goes through that, dont worry. Maybe a new haircut thats more edgy or you can grow your hair out long, and just a hint of make up, like clinique superbalm lip gloss, mascara, and a light brown eyeshadow. natural looking colors is GOOD ENOUGH.

but most of the time, everyone thinks its just based on looks, but really your new years resolution should be to be more outgoing and not be as shy. thats what my problem was, i had to think everything through so i didnt feel stupid in what i said or did, but just putting yourself out there and ready to take the criticism and the judgements AND the compliments. confidence, is the key and maybe working on the outside first is a good start :) dont worry you wont be that girl for long.

plum, green, and gold compliment tan skin and brown eyes. so try wearing clothes or makeup in those colors.

a little lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara can go a long way.

you dont have to wear revealing clothes to get attention. find pieces that compliment your body type or bring out the features you love most
