Need help find what kind of dog this is...?

The other day i saw this dog when i was getting my car fixed. A lady brought her dog in and i thought is was so cute. Actually that was the kind of dog that i was looking for. I couldn't understand her english because she was asian and had a thick accent but from what she said the dog was a "Pischoff, Pischol, Peschof"? At least some kind of name like that and she also said it was a french breed. The dog kind of looks like a poodle with short curly hair but is a little bit larger. Can anyone help me find what the correct name may be so i can locate my new pet. Thanks.

Do yourself a favor and just get a nice, lovable mutt from the pound. You'll save yourself a ton of money and avoid all the nasty health problems that come with pure breeds.

It sounds like a Bishon Frese. Good dogs, non-allergenic and non-shedding plus they are just so darn cute. They originated in Belgium i believe or Canary Island and where first bred as lap dogs for French royalty but during the French Revolution many escaped and ended up on the streets were they were caught and trained to be circus dogs. Sounds to me that you probably have a Bichon Frise. The description definately matches. And I beleive that they are French. Maybe....lol
