Girlfriends tell me I should chop it off...?

Going on a date and want a new hairstyle...many of my girlfriends tell me that I should get a haircut. I've been considering getting one, but I have also considered working with what I've got now and just getting it styled. I have an oval face...the length of my hair is just past my jawline, sort of long, like my profile avatar...any recommendations for haircut or hairstyle for Asian male?

hey my boyfriend has the same hair and he wears glasses too. his hair is pretty long and his bangs goes pass his eyes and touches his nose. a lot of people has told him to cut it. he said that he'll only cut it if i said so. i feel that it's his hair, his looks, it has nothing to do with me. i just told him to do whatever makes him happy and comfortable. i love the man behind the hair, so even though at times i can't see his eyes.....i know he's looking only at me.

I say if you can style your hair and make it look good, just keep it long. but if it doesn't look good then consider other alternatives.

Don't cut your hair. Let it be long, or you can do the Nakata hairstyle. Shave it to the roots and bleach it red and then spike it. Looks very cool!!

go just a little shorter. ya know like even with your nose. and then style it. whatever you do, don't go super short all of a sudden. it can be shocking!!! good luck.
